Laser facial hair removal - What are the risks?

Hair removal with laser light is being pulsed intense unwanted growth. The way it works is that the intense beam of light to the dark pigment melanin is also known as expected. This is the follicle, where the paint runs out. When the beam hits the hair follicle, killing, is slowed down and eventually stops hair growth.

A patient's complexion and the color plays a role in how successful treatment. It 'been shown thatthe most successful on people with dark hair and fair skin. E 'occupational skin darker tones, but will help remove the hair, gray or red.

As with any medical procedure there are risks, the potential patient to be aware of. One way to avoid risks and complications is to go to a doctor's office that I did. Both plastic surgeons and dermatologists are highly respected decisions. It is not a wise idea to have performed this procedurenon-medical personnel.

Some of the risks that may occur include: incomplete removal, some follicles may not have responded, the treatment of dying people again. Be aware that some hairs in the area, which was again treated, can grow.

Hyperpigmentation: This is also referred to as darkening of the skin. It is often temporary, but not always. Sometimes it is permanent.

Hypopigmentation: This is the lightening of the skin. E 'oftentemporarily, but eventually it will remain permanently.

Scars: This is rare but it happens.

Bladder training: This is rare, but happens as well.

Structural changes in the skin: this is rare.

Scabs and irritability: If these conditions occur, are always temporary.

Change in consistency and color: There may be subtle or brighter than the hair of the body, which is still available.

It takes about six to eight treatments to get optimalResults. Each treatment should be spaced six weeks apart for two months. A procedure will take hours, 15 minutes to several, depending on the height of the lichens that are designed for distance. This is an outpatient procedure and without anesthesia. A topical agent is often paralyzing, as necessary.
